Pastors Will and Barbie Graham, from Rugeley Victory Church, were speakers at the VCIZ conference was on the first weekend. It was held at a local college in town. There were leaders and other representatives from all the VCIZ churches there. There were about 100 to 150 attendee’s.
On the Sunday there was the graduation of the 14 students who completed the first year of bible college studies. Five were from VCIZ and the others from other churches.
Pastor Noah Phiri organised for Pastor Will to speak at the Kitwe inter-church pastor’s weekly meeting on Wednesday. The miracle here was that Pastor Will being told by the Holy Spirit to “give his credentials” spoke of serving the LORD for 53 years. Unknowingly, this had co-incided with 53 years of Zambia independence as well as the largest, most well organised inter-church, city-wide crusade that was to be held the following weekend. What a God incident! Pastor Will was then was asked to pray for all the leaders. He was very well received, with queues of pastors wanting a word from God. Reports were that the crusade went well, and the words Pastor Will received for the pastors were accurate and inspiring.
We the visited the church in Solwezi. before returning to the UK.
Vicky and I, with Pastors Kelvin, Gladys, and Pastor Francis from Ndola visited Pastor James Chinyama in Zambezi, before returning to visit Pastor Immanuel in Chingola, Pastor John in Mufulira, and completed our trip with a final visit to Ndola.
Report on Zambia trip. 28th August to 29th September.
On the first day we took Will to see the Koloko land that Canada helped pay for.
We then visited the Blessings Victory Church in Chipulukosi Ndola, which is on the opposite side of Ndola to the Koloko land in the north. About 6km away. This is the biggest church in VCIZ. They say there are about 150 to 200 members. They were so excited we left them a Overhead projector to show Jesus films.
